Today it is quite obvious that I am super impatient for Rhinebeck! I am working on my Rhinebeck Sweater-Slinky Ribs by Wendy Bernard and some gloves for the hubs, which loosely follow the CraftyCCC pattern for Glittens.

Welcome to Episode 12 of the Tranquil Cottage Knits podcast. Today we look at some adorable buttons, talk about the upcoming Shenandoah Valley Fiber Festival, discuss pattern modifications and the lovely folks who put information out there to help knitters modify patterns to their body shape with confidence and I change my mind yet again about what to knit next.
Welcome to Tranquil Cottage Knits Episode 11. Today I talk about grilling on the fire pit, crafting with old windows and I try to decide on what to knit next while the dogs eat bees.
I also mention one of my favorite companies here in the Shenandoah Valley is Shenandoah Spice Company.
My favorite blends are the Bread dip and Dill Yogurt dip both of which I mention in the section where I talk about our fire pit dinner. I also used a healthy bit of their Dry Rub on the steaks. Good stuff and I am proud to say this local favorite has exploded on the main market and is now available at Wholefoods in many DC, MD and VA locations.
Welcome to Tranquil Cottage Knits episode 10. Today we talk about rainy weather, contemplating Rhinebeck Sweater # 2 and I forget what else because I restarted recording about 12 times.
Today I talk about some of my favorite things like Sarah's (aka @knittyandcolor) fabulous color sense and JoAnna's (aka @knitspinfarm) journal covers. These things make me so happy! FO's include Drachenfels by the fabulous Melanie Berg (aka @mairlynd) and 2 hats in glorious colorways from Knittyandcolor. The orange is Cinder and Smoke and the Multi amazingness is Supernova. It was love at first squish!
